UK Inter-County Cross-Country Championships
(Cofton Park, Birmingham, 8 March 2014)

Star performer at the UK CAU Inter-Counties Championships was Zak Mahamed (Southampton) who led the Under 13 Boys' race from the first 100 metres and won with seven seconds to spare.

Other top twenty finishers were Zak's brother Mahamed Mahamed (Southampton, 5th in the Under 17 Men's race), Josie Czura (City of Portsmouth, 5th - Under 13 Girls), Daisy D'Santos (Aldershot, Farnham & District, 6th - Under 17 Women), Jake Cvetkovic (Aldershot, Farnham & District, 8th - Under 15 Boys), Stephen Simpson (Southampton, 11th - Under 20 Men), Rebecca Howard (Aldershot, Farnham & District, 12th - Under 20 Women), Jess Andrews (Aldershot, Farnham & District, 17th - Senior Women) and Lachlan Wellington (City of Portsmouth, 19th - Under 13 Boys). All of these are great performances in high-quality fields.
