Sportshall UK Finals - 25/26 April 2015
Whilst unusually none of the Hampshire teams quite made it to the National Finals this year, finishing second in all four age groups, three of the teams that beat them at the Regional Under 13 and Under 15 events went on to become National Champions in their respective age group competitions. The exception came in the Under 13 Boys' competition where Regional winners Surrey were denied first place by the team from Avon.
Hampshire athlete, Ellie Hodgson
(Southampton), who won the individual Regional Under 15 Girls title
back in February, travelled to the Sportcity, Manchester final where
she competed strongly in all three of her events to retain the Overall
individual title that she won in 2014.
Serena Vincent (City of Portsmouth) was invited to compete in the Under 13 Shot and brought home a Gold medal after recording a best put of 11.86.
