South of England AA Cross-Country Championships 2017

Hampshire athletes collected one gold, three silver and one bronze individual medals at the 2017 South of England AA Cross-Country Championships which were held at Parliament Hill Fields in London.
Ben Brown was the first Hampshire medal-winner of the day when he won the bronze medal in the Under 13 Boys' race. In the next race, Saffron Moore came home second to win the Under 15 Girls' silver medal. In the Under 17 Men's event, Zak Mahamed beat Lachlan Wellington by a single second as they took gold and silver medals respectively, reversing the result of the Hampshire Championships. The final medal for a Hampshire athlete was the silver in the Senior Women's race which was won by Louise Small:
- Zakariya Mahamed (Southampton): Under 17 Men - 1st
- Lachlan Wellington (City of Portsmouth): Under 17 Men - 2nd
- Saffron Moore (City of Portsmouth): Under 15 Girls - 2nd
- Louise Small (Aldershot, Farnham & District): Senior Women - 2nd
- Ben Brown (Southampton): Under 13 Boys - 3rd
As ever, Aldershot, Farnham & District were the most successful club when it came to team trophies, with golds in the Senior and Under 20 Women's, and the Under 20 Men's and Under 13 Boys' events, and silvers in the Under 17 Men's and Women's and the Under 15 Boys' races.
Athletes from a total of 12 Hampshire-affiliated clubs took part.
